Amnesty's mission is to undertake research and action focused on preventing and ending grave abuses of the rights to physical and mental integrity, freedom of conscience and expression, and freedom from discrimination--in the context of our work to promote all human rights, as articulated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. -

Beyond War

Beyond War is more than a mission statement. We develop and provide
educational materials and programs, along with generating opportunities
to volunteer and participate in local chapters and in issue-focused
action teams. We also welcome and share ideas and programs developed by
others, and we partner with organizations who share our commitment to
moving toward a peaceful world that works for all of us. -

CALC (Community Alliance of Lane County)

The mission of CALC is to educate and mobilize for peace, human dignity and social, racial, and economic justice. -

Community Mediation Services

CMS is the recognized resource and leader in Lane County for transforming conflict and facilitating positive communication. -

Eugene Peace Choir

The mission of the Eugene Peace Choir is threefold: excellence in singing; the support of peace, social justice, and environment; and the maintenance of a choir community based on these principles. -

Eugene PeaceWorks

We support a commitment to world peace, social and environmental justice issues through nonviolent grassroots action, education and mutual empowerment to show that peace works. We provide office space and community organizing resources to community members, promote nonviolent strategies for direct action, and campaign against militarism and its use to preserve and promote other institutions of social and environmental oppression. -

Mani Shimada Memorial Fund

The Mani Shimada Memorial Fund is dedicated to continuing the spirit of Mani Shimada and supporting the development and growth of the students at Wellsprings Friends School. -

NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) Eugene/Springfield Branch

The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination. -

Springfield Alliance for Equality and Respect (SAfER)

SAfER is keeping homelessness on the public agenda as an issue of economic justice and human rights. We push for policy changes and promote increased services to prevent homelessness and to assist homeless people. We are building a strong, grassroots coalition to achieve these goals. -
